I was born and raised in Toronto. I started working at 14 as a rink guard for the City of Toronto at my local rink. Growing up in a big city taught me early that design needs to work for everyone, not just one group.
I spent 13+ years in arts education (middle/high school) and then went to NSCAD University where I obtained a Bachelor of Design (BDes), where I learned that design isn't just what's on a screen. I spent time welding, 3D printing, building things with wood, and tinkering with electronics. Turns out knowing how physical things work makes you better at designing digital ones.
Today, I’m a Junior Designer at DEPT Agency, working with eBay. I design and manage bilingual marketing campaigns (English and French) across email, social media, landing pages. I’ve made over two thousand digital assets, built/maintained design systems, and learned how to balance what stakeholders want with what users actually need.
